Coffee Mornings

Our Christmas Coffee Mornings in Gatehouse of Fleet and Dalbeattie were very successful and we made over £800 to complete our fundraising for 2012.  As ever we are so grateful to those who came along to serve teas, sell raffle tickets and do all the other jobs, and we hope you all enjoyed it.   We also appreciate the fact that people come and spend their money at these events - we couldn't do all we do to help the cats in our area without the funds we raise, so thank you.  We always have great ...

October Charity Shop

Once again we had a very successful 3 day sale in McKenzies wee shop in Dalbeattie in October. We had fantastic support from people donating items and customers coming to the shop. We made £604 over the 3 days, every penny of which goes to helping cats, and we would like to thank everyone who donated/bought items and to those who helped in the shop. We will hope to run the shop again next Spring so please keep us in mind if you are having a clear out....

Fundraising 2012

We are well into our fundraising efforts for 2012 and have been very successful so far.  Kirkcudbright Medieval Fayre    £463.31 Kirkcudbright Children's Festival  £378.49 Thornhill Gala  £368.76 Stewartry Show   £246.66 All this money goes towards looking after the cats and kittens in our care, and towards neutering, vets' bills etc.  As for all of us, costs are always rising, so we have to raise funds to carry on our work.  These events involve a lot of hard work, and quite some ...
