Free Neutering

Free neutering For the month of November 2014 we are offering to neuter any cat for free!  we normally only do this for people on low incomes but, for this month, we will pay for anybody's cat to be neutered whatever the circumstances.  Neutered cats are happier and healthier - no more tomcat spraying, less fighting, and no unwanted kittens!  Most cats can be neutered from the age of 4 months so this applies to kittens too.  If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please contact us ...

Children's Festival

We recently had a stall at the Kirkcudbright Children's Festival and it was a brilliant day.  The weather was good and there were lots of people come out to enjoy the event.  We sold loads of plants, home baking, books etc and the children loved the Lucky Dip, Dippy Ducks and the tombola - in fact, we only had one prize left at the end!  We also met quite a few people who have adopted cats and kittens from us, so it was lovely catching up on their stories.  We made over £600 and are very ...

Once again we have had a successful year with our work with local cats and kittens - some facts are listed below.  We are a small branch, but we cover a wide area, both town and country, so there is always a lot to do! As ever, we couldn't achieve what we do without the help and support of a lot of people - volunteers, fosterers, members and, of course, those who adopt the cats and kittens we take into care, sometimes from dangerous or very unsuitable conditions.  Unfortunately, all this costs ...
